Where can I see the shelving system in the flesh?
Do you have a brochure?
- We'll send you a 40 page color brochure which features houses designed by, amongst others, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Team 4, Future Systems, Benson+Forsyth, Edward Cullinan – and lesser mortals
- Or download it as a pdf from Downloads
Is it office furniture?
- The 606 Universal Shelving System was designed in 1960 for use in the home. However, continuous developments and improvements – and the wide appeal of the system – have meant that it has been used in almost every conceivable interior environment: study, home office, library, kitchen, bedroom, reception, museum, display, etc
How long has it been around?
- The system was designed by Dieter Rams in 1960 under the careful eye of the Dane, Niels Vitsœ (1913-1995). It has been in continuous production ever since giving our loyal customers the reassurance that it will continue to be available long into the future
Can I really buy more in 15 years' time?
- Yes. We work with customers who have owned the system for 40 years. They are able to call us for a single shelf to add to their system
- Whilst we cannot predict the future, it is our avowed intent to continue the policy of doing one thing as well as we can so that our customers can have the reassurance of protecting their investment
