Free book and coffee. Really?
The next 620 Reading Room will take place at Vitsœ in Munich.
Words & Photography: Vitsœ
In collaboration with graphic designer, Bernd Kuchenbeiser, and coffee roaster, emilo, the next 620 Reading Room will coincide with Munich Creative Business Week, which sees Muncheners and global visitors touring the city to attend talks, exhibitions, workshops and more.
Vitsœ offers its space as a place to pause in comfort between these busy events.
Album-cover lover, Bernd Kuchenbeiser, is our guest in Munich. Now designing covers for his favourite label, ECM, he describes himself as an “anti-virtuoso” designer. Nice. His book, ’61 books with black type on white cover’, created especially for the event is free for all visitors to take away. His blog reveals an obsession with printed matter that Vitsœ shares.
Individually prepared cups of complimentary emilo coffee will further encourage visitors to take a pause in the comfort of the 620 chairs. The team at emilo relies on carefully sourced raw materials and a gentle drum roasting to provide the perfect cup of coffee or espresso sold from their Glockenbach shop and selected others.
